and I have sinned, because I forgot to take down any names! but still;
1) The visual illusion presented by the pressence of the wire mesh over the sunset scene(?) is cleverly deployed and eminates a sensation of warmth.
2) I dont really understand the recent trend for these kind of lights in sculpture.....
3) this is a bad photograph, but the work depicts a town scape, made entirely from off cuts of jeans.
4) I have actually come accross this sculpture before on one of the other blogs I have been follwing, but it was a pleasure to see in person. it is beatifully carved and the incomplete jigsaw effect with the sections of wood is very interesting
I like this painting for its romantic view on such dreary topic, kind of reminds me of a grey day in london.
this is a really interesting installation; its a very powerfull piece, the frozen scene of destruction is very bizarre, and projects real presence. the piece has been very well and painstakingly correographed emphasinsing its presence.
